How Technology Work?
Platelet rich plasma (PRP) has an increased concentration of platelets that are rich in growth factors and has the potential to enhance the healing of tissue at the cellular level.
Platelets are key components in healing and stimulate the construction of new connective tissue.
A sample of blood will normally contain 93% red blood cells, 6% platelets, and 1% white blood cells. In PRP the ratio of red blood cell to platelets is reversed, thereby increasing factors that would be more useful in healing.
Blood is collected from the patient’s arm and spun in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from the plasma.
The Plasma is then injected into the treatment area; the injection process triggers the healing response and stimulates the cells to begin the rejuvenation process.
PRP facial results are typically noticeable within a few days, full effect occurs at 3-5 weeks and can last as long as 18 months.
